On Saturday June 8th in Louisville, Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center, Daniel Marcos took on John Castañeda. The fight went the entire 3 rounds. Daniel stayed pretty dominant the whole fight. His takedown defense was impeccable and his striking was on point. In the third round, Marcos landed some strong punches and a knee that again dropped John and left him a little wobbly. Marcos once again defended a takedown and suffered a kick to the head that definitely left him a little disheveled for a moment, but Daniel quickly focused and ended the round with some kicks and a couple more strikes. Daniel won by split decision and still remains undefeated at 16-0. His goal for this year is to become ranked, and this win may just help make that happen.
