On Saturday March 2 in Las Vegas Nevada, Jamie Pickett made the tough decision to retire from fighting. He has been dealing with some health issues throughout the past couple years, and has decided that it’s best for him and his family to move on from fighting. MMA has been his life for the past 16 + years and he has been very successful throughout his MMA journey. Jamie went Pro in 2011. The next few years he had a lot of canceled bouts, but it wasn’t until the middle of 2014 is when he began to move up. His next 6 fights, he went 6-0 and competed in Dana White’s Contender Series in July of 2017. It wasn’t until August of 2020 at Contender Series that Pickett got the finish at 0:33 of R1 which got him noticed and signed by the UFC. His dream came true and he was ready to show the world that this is where he belongs. We want to wish Jamie the best of luck and we will miss watching you compete in the cage.
